BOOK OF ABSTRACTS

Due to the great interest in the Conference and numerous applications, we decided to extend the session. This solution will provide all speakers with comfort and the opportunity to exchange views together. At the same time, in order to ensure that all those willing to listen to the papers, we have launched a new registration form for listeners.

The Department of Spatial Planning, Urban and Rural Design FA CUT invites you to the International Scientific Conference AGGLOMERATIONS. Growth. Challenges. Space.
The conference issues concern planning and management the development of agglomeration areas, especially those exposed to investment pressure. The transformation of these areas is associated with the need to protect, preserve and expose their existing natural and cultural values and to implement solutions that respond to climate and digital challenges.

Conference thematic axes:

  • Changes and social risks associated with modern suburbanisation;
  • Opportunities to enhance protection of the natural and cultural values of the areas undergoing transformations;
  • Functional and spatial changes;
  • Eco-friendly, energy-saving and intelligent solutions;
  • Methods of planning and controlling transformations of the agglomeration structure.

The invitation is addressed to scientists, specialists, local government officials and all those interested in shaping town or city space and its quality, as well as its functional areas. We invite also doctoral students and students of Architecture, Urban Planning and Spatial Management, for whom we provide a poster session and the opportunity to make short statements.

The conference will take place on March 2nd-4th, 2023, online via the Microsoft Teams platform. Information regarding access to the online event will be sent in a separate message to the e-mail address provided during application. Please read the schedule and fees. We invite you to participate in the Conference.
